What is a Computer Mouse?

Computer Mice are an open species I created based on, well, the wordplay of a computer attachment sharing the same of an animal!

Computer Mice are exactly what they sound like. They're mice that live in cyberspace and feed off of bugs found in code. They're often utilized in antivirus software. They're an open species and anybody can participate in creating art and content related to or inspired by them!

Computer mice come in all shapes and sizes. They can be lithe or pudgy, tall or short, and their fur can come in any variation of colour or patterns. They have cords for tails that allow them to migrate to different computers by plugging themselves into outlets found in homes. Once plugged in, the mouse is transported into cyberspace and temporarily removed from the physical world.

Each individual computer mouse has a screen on their chest that displays their heartbeat. When the computer mouse sleeps, this screen plays a view of their dreams. Often they dream in the format of default windows screensavers.

Computer Mouse Base for Character Creation

Computer Mice are an open species, meaning that anybody can create one! Below I've created a base for anybody to use if they want to try and make their own Computer Mouse. To get the full size images, make sure you right click and open them in a new tab! Have fun!
